Sep 18, 2009 - B.S. to try and compare to Steve Jobs... They practice for days, and they have a teleprompter at the bottom of the stage. As far as loading with images, easier said than done for most powerpoint users. The clip art sucks, and most people cannot tell a story with one image. Not that its impossible, just not gonna happen when you have deadlines.

Oct 25, 2009 - great vid. but i dont agree with the fact that your points should be in order frmo most importanty to least important. heres a better order:1. second most important2. least important3. most importantmost people, when reading an article or viewing a presentation remember the end better then whatever they heard before it.

Aug 20, 2010 - It depends on the subject matter and your audience I think, for example I have a technical presentation and I find bullet points convey the information perfectly, complemented with images.

Jan 5, 2011 - Wow. That means that I have a great powerpoint presentation. I hardly put texts. He is right its a distraction, people know what your saying, no one pays attention to what your saying. If you want people to hear you and not see through you then avoid adding to much texts. I remember in high school someone used powerpoint and added on a loooooooooong as text. Paragraph after paragraph. We all wanted to shoot ourselves.

Oct 12, 2011 - I loved your presentation. I coach a lot of business people who give financial presentations where they have to display the numbers. How would you do a financial version of your PowerPoint?

NSDzone Says:

Oct 28, 2011 - PowerPoint is great for quick presentations that don't really require a lot of time in preparation (generally) but if you have the time (for presentations you should make time) try out Prezi (prezi.com) it does away with the concept of slides and uses 'zooming' as a way to navigate through your presentation and also allows for easier sharing afterwards. Just a thought!
